Clear Casting Advice

Hi everyone,

This is my first post and I'm actually a woodworker by trade.

I've been asked to create a perfectly smooth table using some wood with many inclusions/imperfections:

I'm planning on using clear casting resin to fill the occlusions and create a flush top but from what I've read, it's quite difficult to remove all bubbles from the mixing process.

I've also seen degassing chambers which seem to do a wonderful job but since this will be a one time use, I can't bring myself to buy the setup.

Is there any other way to remove all bubbles or is there anyone in the Warwick area that has a chamber of their own, who might be kind enough to let me come over with some beers and use it?

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Kyle
