This is a nice kit in many ways and I thoroughly recommend it. This is not one of my best.

The good:
The engineering, decals and fit.
The bad:
The Airfix plastic.

Regarding my build, I like how the paint scheme and weathering worked out, but I am not happy about the instrument panel ‘breaking loose’ in the closed up cockpit and being unable to fit it back into place. Some of the final fittings were an issue, getting the tail wheel into the right position In particular. If I was to do another I would paint and fit the tail wheel before closing the fuselage (the instructions say after, Incidentally). Overall a very nice kit.

Hi Barry
Another cracker to put on the shelf. The painting is excellent. I particularly like the underside.

That is actually a very nice result. I would be chuffed to bits with it.
Yes a pity about the IP popping off though. I guess there are only two choices. Live with it or pop the canopy off and do a bit of repair and touch up work.

She sure looks nice all dressed up and ready to go. ;)

Looks great in that scheme. Lovely aircraft. Have you ever seen the replica going through it’s paces?
