Just a quick tip for those who may need a steer on these tracks. I am currently building a 76(W)mm Sherman and decided to use said tracks for the model which is the 1/35 Battle of the Bulge model. A bit old now but I like a challenge and boy are these track a challenge.
The tip is cut your brass wire as always, then before putting them together get a small triangular file and file across the cast rut that has been placed in both sides of the track pieces. That way it fits togther nice and a small blob of Cyno glue over the peg holes before fitting seals the deal. It may also pay just to have a small pair of pliers just to nip the to mated halves togther.
I hope that this is useful to those setting out to use this type of track especially the T-48 type.
