Hi guys

Latest 1 72 rail project ,bit unusual this .this is the schienenwolf " rail wolf " when hitler knew it was all over he ordered the destruction of all rail tracks leading to Berlin to slow advancing armies this was the thing they used towed behind a loco the hook was dropped on to track and ripped up all the wooden ties as it moved along , this was part of his scorched earth policy.

The dio was made using a hobby boss desiel and scratch built wolf all torn rails were made from wood.Hope you like all comments or questions welcom.

Great diorama Barry, love the figures and the engine is superbly finished. An unusual theme, good choice.

Excellent! Next time put a flak anti aircraft gun on the train to add more interest.

Anyway, a novel subject that is very interesting. The wood effect and hinges look fantastic

Excellent Barry - there's some great detail on those tiny 1/72 figures!
