Nice plasticard build, looks he hasn't been on in a while.

plastic is not used anywhere, paper (standard A4 sheets) and cardboard form most of the raw materials as these pics will show:smiling3:

I think card modelling is fascinating, especially when you are making complex curves as in a car body. This is looking very interesting and coming along very well. Are you using a plan or pictures for the guidance?

Then I stand corrected, apologies for that, outstanding card work. I have enough issues working on preformed plastic never mind even attempting anything is card.

It's looking good so far, especially seeing as it's made of card. Will the indicators work? :P

Hi again! completed the engine assembly

1. cylinder head badges ready to be painted and mounted

2. the rear view of the engine, showing no flywheel, which will be mounted once the gearbox is ready

3. writing "BMW Power" within the 10mm space was a bit tricky

4. a few more bits for the cylinder head

5. intake header under construction

6. a cavity had to be cut from the hood to accommodate the complete engine

7. intake header near completion

8. header completed

9. mounted on the engine

10. alternator and other auxiliary pulleys mounted

11. cam-belt mounted

12. The complete P60 B40 powerplant

more updates underway. Thanks for stopping by and watching.....cheers!

Wonderful, and all made out of card. Superb skill in making those pieces and putting it all together.

thanks! the paint job in few areas was not up to my expectations. the scale of next build will be larger, so i expect improved finishing and finer details, and thus, longer build time
