The answer to 3 on land is Blaenau Ffestiniog, North Wales, not a million miles from me, it is officially the wettest place in the UK as it is sat in the middle of Snowdonia....mmm maybe that should qualify for being underwater too seeing as it has so much rain there.

Regards......Mark

The Kendal Lads claim LEVENS has the official wettest/rainfall record.

Rainfall, Fort William, Scotland.

2004:~ NINE FOOT EIGHT INCH of rain

2005:~ EIGHT FOOT SIX INCH of rain

Other areas have thier own record, most rain in one hour and so on.

The Summit of Ben Nevis has the most precipitation of any land surface in the UK.
