Great replies boys!
The foam board retaining wall at the rear of the O.P. is now made and fixed. Also, the lads had enough 'stuff' left to make a couple of rough steps leading up to the building.

The building is also fixed to the base. I'll post a few pictures of it in place tomorrow.

I hope those who are still hanging on approve of the build thus far. Thanks for looking.

Thanks Gents. Much appreciated.... :thumb2:

The building is now fixed to the base. All that's needed now is a bit of detritus etc. around the area.

Hi Ron
As always your work is just so realistic. You have a natural flair for dios. Coupled with cracking photographs you have another most impressive model in the making.

Thanks Jim. I'm not sure about the contents of your post though...

I'm just in free falling fun, but thanks for the compliments.

Yesterday lunch time, I was telling the missus a bit about the Yom Kippur War and my model, and yes, she did stay awake.
She commented that it would be nice to see the Israelis taking back the O.P., so, another tank was required....

I had a think. then I remembered I had an old 1/35 U.S. Patton Tank in the loft that would do nicely.

Here is the result of yesterday afternoon under the 'currant bun'.

Decals scraped off and ready for some paint.

Brush painted and bits fitted from my spares box. Fictitious and fun, parts of it may be, but that way I'm on safe ground.... ;)

At last, I have all the elements ready - Well almost!

Cheers.
