Vallejo grey primer

Sorry if a bit off topic. I use Humbrol spray primer in their can and then Vallejo paints.
Is this OK or should I be using something better.

That is fine Ben. Two issues. A bit expensive. No control over the amount of paint.


If you use an airbrush worth considering buying a new primer called Stynylrez marketed by Badger.


It has very good capabilities. In an airbrush you will get better results than a spray can and infinitly cheaper.

I don't use anything other than Chaos black from citadel, it is what I have used all over Dora, it goes on smooth gives a nice finish, easy to sand and a large spray can will last for ages, I only used two cans on dora. I have heard a lot of bad things about vallajo primer, especially when sanding, so I will not use it.
