Warped Pieces

I'm working on a Revell Ferrari Enzo and it appears that some of the pieces are slightly warped. Not deformed exactly though. The main chassis pan and body won't fit together without some convincing. However they should be okay once they are glued. But the rear engine cover is also a bit wonky. It doesn't have the fortune of being glued to something to straighten it out. Anything I can do about this to straighten it? Square it up and reheat to to relieve the stress? Or do I just have to live with it?

Actually find this to be a common problem with large flat pieces of styrene.

You could try hot water and ducking for a few minutes, then carefully adjust and bend if you can, it may work.

I still have to wash up the parts before painting. I can try using hotter than normal water to see what happens. Have a new hotwater tank that hasn't been adjusted properly yet, so it's up for the task! :P

Boiling water.... Shake dry.... Glue in place quickly

I had to do this a bit with this even though I was trashing it to make a post apocalypse vehicle
