How about everyone listing their three most wanted kits:

The kit, Manufacturer and Scale

my list:

Tamiya - anything in 1/32 but that’s cheating, so, 1/32 Beaufighter.

Zoukie Mura - 1/32 Hawker Hurricane

HK Models - 1/32 Sm 79

Which is most likely? Perhaps the ZM Hurricane. But who knows....

Takom - 1/35 Matilda Mk.I
ICM - 1/16 Medieval Knight
Zvezda - 1/35 MT-LB AZM Engineer Vehicle
I'm sure my wishes will change day-by-day, but that's it in this moment in time!

I’m never really sure what I want next until something catches my eye to be honest. I can say that under my desk I have 1:48 scale Lancaster, B17 & P61 all of which I want to build but they won’t necessarily be next. I will be trying on of those 1:32 scales at some point just haven’t decided which one yet.

Like Defiant,
I never really know what i fancy building until i see something that looks 'cool',
however that said, my absolute Grail would be the 1/72 scale perfect grade Millennium falcon, given it's £300 price tag. i'd be divorced if i threw that much cash at a model..

Probably any of the Tamiya 1/12 scale formula one cars, or Porsche 934, but they are a bit pricey, says the man who just paid £130 for a s/h shift motor for his motor bike. Still, bikes are really important, to me at least.

Andy.

It has too be Russian for me ,only 1939 to 1945 .1/35 , like add ons. Plenty more to build even if I've built them before. Trumpeter, Mini Art and some quite odd Eastern makes .

Personally I would also go with some of Paul’s wants. 1950’s/1960’s British cars In 1/24th and bikes in 1/12th, made by quality manufactures. Military vehicles are pretty much covered in all standard scales. You have to look pretty hard to find a significant gap from the main protagonists, but try to find a decent kit of the Triumph Bonneville or BSA Goldstar and you’ll look for a very long time......

For me it's mostly about adding a something a bit different to the small scale battles my son and I have. i also don't have a great knowledge of all the models out there, so I may be missing out on things, but for better or worse this is my list:
  • 1/72 Hauler A30 Challenger. It's a resin kit but the only at this scale. My mum has already bought it for my birthday in December! :smiling:
  • 1/72 Vespid A34 Comet. These are brand new manufacturer and the sprue shots look very good. John is hopefully getting them at the end of the month. The only other one I know of close to this is the Revell (old Matchbox) version at 1/76.
  • 1/72 Modelcollect - modern Russian T-something. Built their T90A a while ago and was very impressed.

A decent Challenger can be converted from two Cromwells :smiling3:

The front of the turret is the only really difficult part, everything else is large, flat plates that make it a good first major scratchbuild, IMHO. But I think the Hauler model will be better detailed than, say, my home effort of some years ago :smiling3:

Hmmm,

My actual wish list almost empty as I have purchased all the main kits on it. My wish list for kits I would like to see made is somewhat long, but here are 3 that would be nice so see in plastic (not resin)......

1/35 Peugeot 1,4 ton, 4x2 truck (over 12,000 made for the Wehrmacht)
1/35 Opel Blitz 6700A 3 ton truck 4x4, with correct 8 hole rims and plastic molded tires (no rubber crap)
1/32 ZM or HKM Heinkel He 162 "Spatz" with correct detailing of cockpit and BMW 003E jet engine

Prost
Allen

PS, would be nice to see a re-issue of the WNW Hansa-Brandenburg W.29 floatplane too.............
