UPDATES FURTHER DOWN.

This is the 1/12 Bandia Stormtrooper, same one that Alan did a few days ago. He has been assembled, decals added to helmet etc (fiddly bleeders) and then a light weathering, his E-11 blaster has also had some light aluminium weathering. I have sealed him in matt varnish as I wanted him to be more battered and worn. He is going to go on a small dio base in some backwater planet-keep the populace in-line.

Here is a update on what I have been doing.

Done a doorway, like off Tattoine, it's made from polystyrene coated in a modelling dust and PVA mix, once dry I then started to paint and weather it.

I then made a small droid out from the robot from 'Space-Precinct' stripped him and added stuff, stripped out a old sync lead from a camera and used the bendy insert for supports of the neck, he is finished.

So, that is it for now, 8 hours work in just that lot!

I like how you made the trooper a little dirty. Shiny white wouldn't look right imo. The lil robot/droid thingy is really cute. Good job so far Si!

ANOTHER UPDATE:

Have painted and weathered the stone doorway, added the door, made out of spare aluminum blind slats (right fiddle that was) added some tubing and a bottom part from a A4 plastic paper holder. Also added a door mechanism and some equipment. The trooper is going to be looking a screen (when I finish it). Mounted on its board, just need some fine sand to finish that off.

Cheers mate, glad you like it, this is a doorway to 'Docking Bay 94' Have got some signage in Imperial words.

Not sure yet, I have to clear £24 just to cover the figure! So, dunno.

I have just ordered a 6 inch sandtrooper to go with this, the Bandia tropper is going to have his hand removed and the one that is pointing is going to be used for him touching the screen. The Sandtrooper is ready for the door to open and then they get shot to bits :D
