Hi folks! This is my 1/144 Su-25 Frogfoot, T-8 Blue 15, also marked as 301. This aircraft was a pre-production machine that saw tons of combat action, for the russians decided that the frontline was a good test tube for design improvement. Apparently this one was shot dow a couple of times in Afghanistan, made home anyway just to get fixed up and back to the beating. You can read the story in Squadron Signal's Su-25 Frogfoot In Action page 7.
So this is how it appeared at the 38th Aero Salon in Paris in July 1989:

There is probably some other builds of this kit in this forum, so nothing really new here. The kit is quite nice for its little size, with good detail overall. I only added some antennae and other stick-outs around the plane to improve its looks. Building and painting was a breeze, until my 3 year old daughter found the model still freshly painted on my desk and decided to help me. She dipped the paintbrush in turpentine and brushed it all over my impeccable paint job. Keep this things away from kids! Good lesson from me. But as you can see it got fixed, so here it is. Cheers!
