1/700 Colombo Express (Revell)

Well, this is my actual project, the Colombo Express 1/700 (Revell) with PE from MK1.










You can see the different sizes, between USS Mount Whitney and the Colombo.

I'm starting the "sub-project" for paint all the containers of the containers of the Colombo. I bought a extra decals for them with different company names (P&O, OOCL, etc). I finished the simulation for one of sides.....

The black hull is done....

Hull is done.....Is a mixer with rust Vallejo Model Air 71080 (40%) and Ferrari Red 71085 (60%)

Finally, the paint job is done!

Access walkway onboard (homemade). Pending the installation of the crane winches with the walkway

I don't know if I will use, but I did this "extra cargo" for the Colombo

I need to write a opinion concerning Revell Germany. I had lost one of the anchors of my Colombo Express. And I wrote a email to Revell Germany in January explaining my "problem" and if they could to send me one anchor for this model kit. Today, I received a box with two of this anchors. All for free.

Half of the project is completed (it is pending the plate on the wood base). I taken these photos with my phone, this week I will take with a camera

This is very impressive Héctor! These are like floating islands with a city for a bridge. Fantastic work on the stairs, that photo etch made a world of difference. Superb paintwork can't wait to see it with its container load.
