As the nose went on without a problem I thought this was going to be a filler-free build. But then I came to fitting the wings and found big gaps on both wing/fuselage roots. This is being overcome with Tamiya putty, super glue, and a lot of sanding! (and patience!)

Wing roots - when I don't have a gap, I assume I've done something wrong !

Here's the progress I've made this weekend, my airbrush now unclogged and performing as it should The colours I used were Vallejo's Model Air equivalent of RLM 76 for the under-surfaces, RLM 81 for the camo, and the base coat was RLM 82; I sprayed various shades of each colour over the primed and pre-shaded model.

Some more progress - klear-coated, decals, oil wash, another klear coat, matt varnish. Oh, and I also added a JG 26 band around the 'tail'.
