My neck and shoulder ache tells me that it's finished. A really nice kit with lots of detail but plenty of fiddly bits.

The two proposed paint schemes are both the classic tri-colour, which I have attempted and failed miserably with before with brush painting. So, I've gone for the hastily applied winter camo, which the crew slapped on in the field, (probably in a field), with anything they could lay their hands on - paintbrushes, brooms etc. Winter has taken its toll and the whitewash is fading.

It looks better to the naked eye than it does in the photos:

Nice mate, white wash was even applied with a rag on a stick sometimes. Looks like a great little kit.

Really nice, Tony. The winter camo looks just right. I love the Panzer IV - a real workhorse with lots of scope for mods like spaced armour.

Wow , Im not a fan of 1/72 scale stuff but you made this one look damn good. Like the whitewash over the original paint job. Could pass for 1/35 , well done.

Hi Tony,

tough I am not a fan of 1/72 or everything smaller then 1/48, I must admit this looks really good, the weathering you have done on such a small model is great.

Well done.
