So here's my next braille scale installment!

The Dragon kit #7246 is a nice kit with decent detail, pe engine grills & markings for 4 units. However, the hull didn't look as good as the turret so I substituted that for a Revell one. In the picture, anything grey is Dragon, anything tan is Revell.

First a coat of Tamiya Dark Yellow, followed by the first camo colour Humbrol 117.

Then the second camo colour, Humbrol 133.

Then the dots, these were applied with a fine-tip pen.

Looking superb Patrick, is it a fine point paint pen you used?

Thanks Si - no, it was a cheap felt-tip pen dipped in paint. It was the only way to achieve consistant small dots. If I'd used a brush, it would have been a mess in my shaky hand! ;)

Thanks Alan :smiling3: the next part will take longer - wash, weathering & chipping, but that's the best bit!

With you on the shaky-shaky...nice tip, looks like some felt pens will be sourced. Thanks for that.

Patrick that is a gorgeous little king tiger, you paint work is top quality and the ambush pattern is very well done, and on something so small too.

Thanks Scott! I've deviated somewhat from the standard colours for German AFVs, I thought they came out a bit dark on my Panzer III.

Yep! Fantastic work so far!!What kind of wash you had use? Looks very subtle
Polux , it's my faithful homemade oil wash, equal parts lamp black & burnt umber.

I'll probably go over it again as it's slightly too subtle for my taste
