I have had this since 2015 and due to various disasters with the Lancaster bomber which has now been repaired so it can continue I decided to build this model from NASA namely The Eagle Luna lander of LEM now short-end to LM
1st stage is to cut out the various parts for each section following the instructions supplied on cd in pdf format so here goes

Part 2 of the Luna Module

More cutting folding and gluing onto card before producing the required component this time it’s the start of the front section of the ascent stage

Amazing work Colin - true modelling.

I remember seeing the Apollo 10 capsule in London's Science Museum and thinking how hand-made it looked, which I suppose it was.

Part 3 Luna Module

Ok next bit added a 1st locking ring onto main ascent stage ready for the front section to attach to later on in the build
Next was the start of the ascent stage engine bell assembly area with the glueing on of the bottom skin and cutting out and gluing onto card of the aft equipment bay along with rendezvous light bezel which was glued onto card then concertina folded and glued after that it was clamped in a vice for several hours until the glue had set solid I then punched out the inner circle using a leather belt punch
Also created the docking window by cutting out 2 pieces of clear acetate plastic actually a vacuum pack from the build the Bismarck model I’m also building using the supplied template and adding etching into the plastic to replicate markings then colouring them red and green respectively joining them together then mounting the completed assembly docking window onto the ascent stage mid skin using the bevelled housing constructed previously the covering was then wrapped around for a test fit and then glued onto the mid section of the ascent stage finally cut and glued the nose section of the ascent stage ready to add to the front section of the ascent stage

Luna Module Part 4

Ok so the outer skin has been added to the front of the ascent stage and glued in place next was the rear engineering panel and the RCS thruster assembly’s 2 on the ascent stage and 2 on the front cabin of the ascent stage see the photos showing the printed items on the paper which was then glued onto thin card to give it strength then cut out and folded as per the instructions and glued
After the glue has set the rear engineering panel was given strengthening thick card panels then after these had set the assembly was glued onto the rear or the ascent stage along with the RCS thruster base assemblies
