Update.

The He 177 is being decalled, the walkway lines nearly drove me mad!

But it's now being treated with microsol.

The Me 262 has been primed.

The Fw 190 is done. I did manage to "break" the hood in a convincing way though it's not that visble in this piccy. I've just noticed, looking at the photo, that I haven't unmasked the windscreen yet either.

That means two down

And two to go....plus of course the small matter of some sort of dioramic scene which exists only in my head at the moment :smiling3:

Cheers

Steve

Slow progress but at least some on the He 177.

The whole thing was sprayed with a highly thinned grey to tie everything together before a dark was on top and a light wash underneath. Finally I got a matt coat on.

Final assembly to come.

I need to make progress eith the Me 262 but time available is limited at the moment.

Cheers

Progress with the Me 262.

I've tried to go for interesting camouflage schemes and this is no exception. It's based on a KG(J) 51 aircraft.

Coming along nicely Steve. Can't wait to see how the base turns out.

The Me 262,complete with undercarriage collapse,is now done.

The He 177 is the last to be finished and is not far away. I'm giving some serious thought as to how I can cram all four aircraft onto a reasonably sized base. These aircraft couldn't have been moved up hill and down dale so a relatively flat scene is forced upon me. I'm hoping to add some bits'n'bobs to make it a bit more interesting.

No worries John! You're just in time to see the big He 177 finished.

This has been built OOB and not mucked about for the sake of the dio, simply because it's a nice kit. To this end I've taken a few "proper" photos of it before it goes into the diorama. The diorama still exists only in my head apart from a few bits I've started to accumulate.

Anyway, here's the He 177 A-5 of 6./KG 100. It was based in France with the intention of bombing our chip shops :smiling3:

And a "black and white" version.

On with the dio!

Cheers

I ask myself what diorama you will do!!

The quality of the planes is insulting and terrific (like ever), you cannot fail on the dio Steve.
