Good start Peter, the bike looks great.
Thanks Barry .............. But I think the PE is going to beat me on this one. I spent two hours this evening trying to make up the chain guard..........and ended up scrapping it. I'm going to have to "scratch" something for that. Luckily the rest is plastic so tomorrow it should be best part together. I have to leave a couple of things off for painting but it should be fairly easy............. Then I can start on the figures.

Si.
I think you have done rather well for something as hateful as PE and in that scale. Just do a wash on the bike and it look well used. Great work so far Peter.

Thanks Si much appreciated....... I was a proper struggle. I hated every damn minute of it. I was planning a wash over it when I do the figures.

Two things to think about with PE and superglue.

If you are having issues getting things to stick, you could be over doing it. Less is more. Also I found that a quick wipe with some IPA will remove any oil transfer from fingers.

A bit late maybe but you know for next time.

Thanks Ian....... on reflection maybe I was a bit "over indulgent" with the superglue. I did use the IPA, as I always do before I glue or paint anything......... My main problem with PE is it's so damn thin and delicate and I always seem to break it with the hammer when I'm fitting it
