Not sure yet. I liked the winter scheme that Theuns did but I also wanna try some weathering aswell. I remember what I used to do when I was younger - sort of ? - but you don't know til you try.

I'll post some pictures as soon as I have some.

The great thing about winter camouflage is the variety. Unless you are working from a reference photo you can do just about anything you like involving white! There was never an official scheme laid down for winter camouflage on any aircraft.

Cheers

I'm just guessing (looking at the wings) is this a 1:48 scale. Even so, the cockpit detail still looks very good. Is it all OOB ?

hey guys, model is 1:72 scale. This is the scale I grew up with and I think the one I prefer. But like some of the builders on this forum my eye sight isn't as good so a magnifing glass, actually lots of them, is in order.

To be honest, when I did my Ju in winter sceeme is was just to hide my shoddy brush painting!

Looks like you are having fun with yours, perhaps I should do another one in the near future.

Thanks for comments.

Hope to post further pictures, asap. Gonna wait for sunny day as my poor old digi camera doesn't seem to be any good for close up work with a flash.

Will try again when summer returns :goodluck:

Further question.

If this has been asked before please point me to right thread.

I've just spent the last 2 hours putting on the tiny decals for my Ju 87. I followed advice and put a coat of klear on first. After it had dried I started in on the decals. All went well to start with, but as the very small ones dried they seemed to be just sat on the surface and came off easily. To remedy this I put a further coat of Klear over the top of the decals and was really annoyed to see them stuck on the end of the Q-tip I was using.

"Swearing now"

Please help

Finished now.

After much ado, my Stuka is done - mostly.

Here is the clean paint scheme

And here is the newly painted winter camo scheme

Details still to do but as I'm thinking about my next build, I'm calling it done.

What do you think.
