Hi Adrian

Nice start to the Lanc, the cockpit detail, PE belts etc look great. With regards to the raised panel lines I think your masking tape/filler idea seems fine or buy some suitably fine plastic strip - superglue this in place then sand it back. If the missing line isn't too long I think you'll be fine.

There's some excellent Lancasters featured on this forum and, if the internals are anything to go by, yours is set to join them.

Superb worwork all the best

Well, work is progressing slower than expected due to a back injury so finding it hard to sit at my desk for long periods, but I've now started the engines and as I am going to have one on show I could use a little advice from the Lancaster builders.

I have the resin exhausts from Paragon and as you can see from the picture there is a size difference, also the parts in the kit show each side as different where the resin ones are all identical so which do I do and will the larger resin ones cause me any issues when attaching to the rest of the engine cowls?

Progress is still slow due to my back but I've made a start on the bomb bay, as those who have built the Tamiya Lancaster will know the rack is basically just large plugs for the bombs to hang off, well I bought the PE bomb bay set an so have made a start on removing the plugs, they need sanding down now and a sharp knife to tidy them up into line with the rest of the inner detail but its relaxing work :smiling3:

Latest update on my build, the bomb bay has really come on, once it's painted I'm sure it will look even better.View attachment 64607View attachment 64608

As for my engines I decided they looked a little bland to be put on display so I had a little go at improving them, can you spot the difference

How the kit engines should be View attachment 64609View attachment 64610View attachment 64611

and with my effort to improve them this is how they appear now View attachment 64612View attachment 64613View attachment 64614
