AEC Matador...

Am getting interested in "soft skins" (new expression to me!), and have definitely got a yearning for an AEC Matador. Only model I can find at 1/35 is AFV Club's one. Anybody built one? Also, does anyone know of, or suggest any other interesting models in this category - the bigger the better, that little Bren Carrier was a tad fiddly!

Ooh yes! That does look appealing. I'm a bit puzzled as to why the AFV Club ones are so expensive, but I really want one! Gonna add that Bedford to my wish list too, what are the IBG KITS LIKE. I've never heard of them....

They are a Polish company IIRC, not made one by them so cannot comment on quality, however on this site it shows you some more pictures of the model. http://modellingshop.gr/katastima/%CF%83%CF%84%CE%B1%CF%84%CE%B9%CE%BA%CE%AC-%CE%BA%CE%B9%CF%84/bedford-qlr-wireless-135/

Thanks for the info, I have to confess, these old trucks look like a great canvas for weathering and additions of loads etc. Are the clear mouldings up to the job?
