Following a very kind offer by @yak face Tony to fill a gap in my training squadron, he sent me the Airfix Scottish Aviation Bulldog.
A very old kit, but a straight forward build, only complicated by the fact, I could get no more lead in the front of the model. I even hollowed out the spinner for a bit of lead, but it wasn't enough, the little Bulldog is a terminal tail sitter. But wait, these old kits come with a stand.
Even the old decals were OK to use.
Here's the box and sprue shot, all in one.
Jeff and Pete installed with Tamiya belts and a spare decal for the IP.
The glazing responded well to a dip in Klear.
The it was nearly time for paint. You can see why there was no build thread for this little Bulldog.
Finished.
And finally, the training squadron. OK, the Gnat is a little over scale at 1:48.
Again, thank you Tony.
