While awaiting the postman to deliver a few bits for the Phantom I'm building in the SIG, I built this. This is the second one of these I have built and I will just say that its a lovely kit to build.

This time I went for the flight training school in Boscombe.

Painted with Xtracrylix Dark Sea Grey and Dark Slate on t'top and Sky for the nether regions. The kit decals are printed by cartograph and are as expected very good.

Built OOB (see I can when I want lol)

Here is one of the photos of the first one I built. Its on here somewhere.

Hope you like it and as always comments are welcome.

Thats nice mate .... but ... totally out the box with no extras ??? ... thats very unusual for you from what ive seen in the past. :smiling3:

Is the one with the folded wings 1:48 too? and did you do the folds yourself or was it an option in the kit?

Oh yeah ... 5* from me coz it looks good!!!

Thanks chaps.

Colin; Jeps Out of the box! I said I could. lol Erm the thing is that it don't really need much added and I'm not that much of a Spitfire/Seafire expert to see that there are things that need changing.

The Kit coes with two sets of wings; a folded set and an open set with all the bits needed to fit them. There are also two sets of flaps, Up or down.

My only personal thought is that the seat seams to be a bit narrow, compared to others in the same scale.

One more option for me to build is the FAA version so that's one for another day.

Nice one Ian. I like 'sky', it lends itself nicely to a good bit of shading.

Yeah that's a good one as well. One of the first of their recent new tool kits. Another good one is the re released Seafire 45/47.
