Here she is. 1/72 new tool airfix Mk9.

Paint is Humbrol enamels, staining - pastels

The decals were a nightmare to get to conform and not silver to much, had to brush clear gloss under the edges. I understand the red is not correct either, but appart from that it was a really fun little build and I will defenately try another model from them!

Done in the colours of Sqn Ldr Stanislav Skalski in Tunisia

Excellent job theuns, looks like a real nice kit to build. Great paintwork , loving the oil stains on the underside of the nose and the chipping on the wing-top work mate! cheers tony

At 1/48 scale it would of been great. At 1/72 scale that is pretty fantastic. Nice little kit by the look of it.

Tidy build and a great result with the painting. Well done Theuns.

Thanx Ian, I was a little dissapointed with the painting on the right wing where I messed up the cammo pattern due to the small scale and my masking worms being to big,but overall I recon Airfix has goten their act together very nicely, I just hope this decal sheet I had was a dudd and that other sheets will be better.

Just aslong as we still have fun hey? LOL

Hi Theuns

Very nice camo and weathering, I don't know how you achieve such good results at that scale.
