Hi all
So, firstly I hope you and your loved ones are all keeping safe and sound at this crazy time.
Secondly apologies for not being around much. The current COVID-19 situation means that whilst I'm very fortunate in that I can work from home, working for a financial services firm as I do it means that we're very busy and so modelling time is at a premium, plus my WFH table is also my modelling table....
Anyway onto the kit. I got this a while ago for Junior's recon forces and decided to get it out back in February for a club night I took Junior to for a nice quick build for the two of us. The only addition we made was to add a couple of rudimentary brackets for the radio antenna and metal barrels.
One of the more 'interesting' things about the kit is the brass axle, meaning it is possible to actually push around the battlefield
!! The wheels are currently dry-fitted BTW.
I'm actually on holiday next week and so hopefully I will have the chance to get the AB out and at least give it a prime.
This was apparently released in the mid-70s and so as you'll see is fairly rudimentary but whilst doing my research I came across this review and as you can it can be 'tarted' up a bit if you so wish - link HERE.
Anyway enough of the rambling on - pics below as usual - unfortunately though I forgot to take shots of the sprues.
Take care and stay safe.
