Good evening Chaps,
After a period of several months offline I was shocked to learn of the demise of my spiritual mogelling home. At the suggestion of many of the chaps who have made their way here, I come with cap in hand seeking some bench space and friendly banter. Those of you who already know me, please be kind. Lots to try and learn about this new forum to me. And to those who don't, I'll do my best to behave.

Cheers Tim, this all seems rather strange. A lot to get used to I suppose.

Friendly here though, the rest is just AFLC. I think more people came over from Milmod than were actually on it LOL

Real easy, write your thread and use either the camera icon or landscape icon left of the emoticon. The site links straight to your source by browsing and loads the picture into the thread. Really easy to use....
Hey, this is the sort of thing we used to have to ask you LOL
Cheers

Good to see you Andy,

Tim didn't warn you that the images here are kind of large. Any portraits will need appointments to the make up department first.:tears-of-joy: Not enough weathering to the cheeks.

Cheers,
Richard

So do we create albums here?
First off, Welcome to the forum.
Albums: Well you can, but not really needed, Unless you want one that is.
Write the post and there is a 'button' Add Image. Click that and you can chose directly from your own drive and upload them from there.
Once they are uploaded they appear as a list under the text box. Then you can one of two things. Either click the button under the very top thumbnail; 'Insert All' You can choose to inset thumbnails or the full image. OR click the inset button by each image. Doing that you can write a bit of text, then add a photo, write a bit more, add a photo and so on.
It is a good idea to post the full image so all can see the content.
Hope that helps.

Hi Andy - very good to see you. Is that how you get to work each day?
It appears that albums are not really used here. To be honest, they weren't often visited on Mil Mod and we only used them in order to install pictures in our threads. Here the process is much easier, as the site links directly to your computer's picture files. As Richard said, you get the choice of thumbnail or full image, which is a bit large and can give some gruesome results. An alternative is to use the file attachment function which creates a slideshow. Altogether I think I prefer this system.

Peter.
