I suppose this should be under 'Chit chat'..not to worry.

As John has now declared it's officially Christmas on Scale Models, and as I had not visited my troops in 12months, I took the opportunity to go and wish them all the best and deliver the Christmas mail. Since then more stragglers have come in for a warm, one on a motor bike and also a cat has turned up.

On a serious note, let me first wish all our service men and women who will be overseas at Christmas (whether they should be there or not) and separated from their families all the very best and keep safe.

This will be my second Christmas on Scale Models and I would like to wish our 'Boss' John all the best and thanks for a great Forum. Also to all the members on here, the very best of good wishes both for Christmas and 2011.

As we are on the subject... A merry Christmas and a very Happy New Year to all the members new and old. And special thanks to John for all his efforts over the past 12 months. Oh and by the way/ Nice work Ron, very festive.

A great diorama Ron but what sets it apart is your keen eye for the photo shoot. Your use of real backgrounds, low camera angles and particularly low winter lighting works superbly and makes for some amazingly realistically pictures of the group.

Thanks for the comments boys, but I think I have gone over the top with the pictures and worded the title wrong....Infact the whole thing is too long winded and unneccessary when all I really wanted to do was.......
