that's the zimmerit its made from a thin layer of resin and has a waffle texture in it.

zimmerit was used on tanks to make them less vulnerable to sticky bombs or magnetic ones.

And for the time I always make little breaks in between, if not u will goo_O

Great work Richi, it's come a long way since I last looked in. How are you replicating the brickwork on the sides of the buildings? I can't figure out how you've transferred the pattern from your printed templates to the wall material, and then how you've embossed the detail. The street cobbles look amazing, BTW.

I hope I have understood your questions right so I will give it a try.

a./ How are you replicating the brickwork on the sides of the buildings?

the same as the front side they are separate pieces that I glue together

I put my brick template with some adhesive paper on my wall material and I cut the pattern with a scalpel through the paper in my wall material.

after that I use a old permanent marker witch is filed with acetone, to follow the scalpel lines and I use it to scribe the details in the stones.

I have been drawing a little more details in the walls, although its hard to see, but its there.

then I glued the wall pieces together and dry fitted it on the base and cut it to the right size.

The M20 is just for reference size and I think it looks spot on.

outstanding work Richi, coming alone very nicely superb detail around the windows as well,

i think that you have nailed the scale fine to me looks spot on, your road way has come

out very nice as well,

what thickness sheets do you use x 2 6 mm ?

yes I used 2 6mm sheets for the walls. except for the 2 pieces behind the small part that separates the 2 doors there I used 2 scheets of 3mm and 1 of 2mm in the middle.

next up is the first layer of paint for the walls and then I will close the spaces between the stones with plaster.

and I will try to build the doors and windows between that:D.
