Here as promised after my introduction earlier today are some pics of the first model i completed having returned to the hobby after a very long spell.

Its a Tamiya 1/12th scale Ducati bike, and as always the tamiya kits go together very well. It is hand painted and ive also used a humbrol spray tin. I dont yet have an airbrush. Although this is an old tamiya kit i would recommend it to anyone to build.View attachment 15947View attachment 15948View attachment 15946View attachment 15945

I normally resize to 800x600 pixels before uploading. makes them fit most screens well. Sometimes (when I get it right) I do a 1000px wide to show better detail but the 800x600 is best all round.

That is much better Martin. I have merged them to keep them in the same place. Looks very nice how did you get that effect on the silencer? Is it Carbon fibre?

Hi Graham, yep the effect on the silencer is the carbom fibre decals that come with the kit...they are a bit of a pain in the whotsit to put on and it took a few attempts to get them just right, but once in place they do give a great desired effect.

Very nice. Great job!

I've got an R1 to be cracking on with (also tamiya) which also has the carbon fibre stuff to cut to size. Can't wait haha.
