Looks great andy.I love the seat. Its a great way to make it.

What are you making the guns out of?

Tom
Hi Tom,

I will make the guns out of the same material, Evergreen Styrene. I have a load of the stuff, all shapes and sizes. Fantastic to work with as you will see as i go along.

Cheers

Here we go with the gun/bomb compartment continuation. The basics are now built and painted and now its time for the finer details to go in. These are the radio controls, power sockets and various clocks, seat belts, conduits and cables. Its easier to build and add the panes first, then the wiring, just like the real thing i suppose. Next will be the amo boxes and guns.

Hope you like

Andy

Hi Gang,

Back with the latest update. As i said earlier, lots of scale interior to make on this one and it takes some time. Since my last post on this one i have managed to make the Vickers Gun and the Bomb Sight, i have also painted and detailed the inside of the canopy. Once these 2 bits are added and i have done a little wear and tear on the inside i will fit the canopy to this section, seal and move onto the cockpit next.

Thanks

Andy

Thanks Tony, i really appreciate your comments. I am still a begginer though. I wish i could have had a larger scale, then i would have been able to build a more detailed and precise bit of kit for it, When things are this small i feel that the outcome isnt all that good.

Thanks again mate

Thanks Tom,

You are all too kind. Even my flight instructor was amazed after my first flying lesson. I think if it has any merit in the truth that perhaps in a previous life i was a modeler. Weird.

Thanks again chaps and keep up your good work too.

Hi gang,

Well, the first of the interior detail is finished, 3 more to go. As usual i am never happy with a moulded canopy and always add my own detail to add that better scale look. Below is the process and the finished product. Im not happy about the glue, i have tried many now and nothing sticks styrene to the canopy fast, i have found that thick Zap is the only one, if you guys have any tips i would be happy for your expert guidance. Hope you enjoy this latest upload.

Keep up the good work

Andy

Looking great Andy.

Any ideas on your next project as this one is coming together at a fair rate of knots, or is it to early to say yet?

best of luck,

Tom.
