Evening all.

After a small break from the hobby over the past year I've climbed back into the mancave and cleared the dust off, so looking forward to chatting on here again and picking your brains for tips :smiling3:

I've started off with a quick build of a Tamiya Mk1 Golf GTI with my own colour scheme and realised how rusty my limited airbrush skills have become. The gloss coat is a right pain in the butt to get right!

Any ideas on how to get the gloss right, I'm using Tamiya Gloss. Was also thinking the finish may look better in semi-gloss due to the scale down effect.

Atb, Colin.

Nice to see an old face back. Well not old as in old old.

Look forward to seeing your quickie. Good idea to start with a quick one. If I have had a long build I turn to a quick one gives a little rest.

Thanks for the welcome (back) guys.

As soon as I get the quickie finished I'll post some pics.

Cheers.
