Okay, so here's a thing. Best BUILD or best KIT you've built?

This is my 1/72 OLD Airfix Bristol Fighter; the most work I've ever put into one kit, and I'm most pleased / proud of

From an engineering point of view, the Airfix Starter set Spit 1A I built, in three days, for a sales promo. Talk about shake'n'bake!

So many amazing models from very talented and skillful builders...god this site is good.

My fave builds...hmmm. Many have gone to other homes, including ones shown but, I did enjoyed doing these very much and as for the best...there isn't one. Some turned out slightly better than others but all, had challengers.

"best" can be so subjective. The one I'm most pleased to have finished is my revell 1/400 enterprise, just completed couple weeks ago, back and forwards on it for a year, with long periods off it when it began to get the better of me. I'm not a scratch-builder, (I have neither the skill nor imagination shown by some on here which just amazes me), but i decided to add the hangar deck which seems a popular option for carriers. Throw in a bit of lighting for that and it starts to become a "why did I do that?"IMG20240125172945.jpgIMG20240125172937.jpgIMG20240125172922.jpg
Pretty challenging for my skill level but happy with result. Probably built better looking small models, extra details, bit of weathering etc but definitely more satisfied with this.IMG20240125173125.jpgIMG20240125173119.jpg

Only just seen your reply I haven't been doing much building lately maybe 1 hour or so a week if I am lucky that's why I haven't posted much and as for the enterprise its next up once I have finished the ship I am currently working on.
The reason for not building much is I have my in a care home for a while recovering from a hospital stay so modelling is way down on the list
