What metallic did you use ? It's got a nice dark look to it


I've tried using a pencil but it never shows up on my photos

I've tried using a pencil but it never shows up on my photos[/QU I use Testors acrylics for my "metalising" just mix silver, black and just a touch of brown {a tiny touch, a bit of brown takes away that "sterile" look} I'd imagine you could use a premixed "steel" but before that just touch the edges with a bit of "dirty wash" as I call it- semi dry brush- just hint it about and lightly dry brush your metal over it- go very lightly at first- you can always add more if you desire. Like anything else it takes a bit of practice but you'll see the results and you can adjust your technique as needed. Just remember you don't want a bright silver effect so keep adding the black to your mix until it looks right to you, a few test photos would help, see how they look on your screen and make your adjustments as you see fit, hope this helps you along......Jim
