A little diorama i threw together over the last week for my partner.

Elaine rates this as one of her all time favorite films.

So, with a little artistic licence, i present Italeris' 1/48 chopper (hmmm) and airfix 1/48 afganistan figures (yuk)

Polystyrene board base, balsa buildings, reptile sand for substrate, a wrecked 1/43 diecast VW beetle and all painted in acrylics with the hairy stick.

Seems the lens was smudged in some.

a few more

thanks very much for the comments chaps.

its well worth watching as a film tony, maybe not 100% historically correct but what war film is to be honest.

Elaine's hinting for another already with the ideas mentioned ... dammit :smiling3: :smiling3: ;)
