Blue tack

I have used Blue tack for lots of model applications including masking for camo paint. I rolled the blue tack into fine strands and gently pressed it down in the right shape onto the model. The area that was not to be painted was covered with greaseproof paper ,with the blue tack acting as an adhesive to keep the paper in place. When painted or sprayed the tack leaves a good demarkation point .If done right it gives a good Soft Edge to 2 tone camo. It can be used to blank off engine nacelles, jet pipes, Canopies, wheel wells etc.

Its good for keeping the painting instuctions in a handy place too.
