Just to add to this thread, my son wanted to post a thread on his model that he built with some help from me. He is 9 so still learning one of the key requirements in model making which is patience. He’s getting better with each build and it’s a good way to learn about understanding instructions and thinking problems through as well as the satisfaction of building something with your own hands of course.

Top work young fella!

Far more enjoyable than getting 'Thumbs Strain' through gaming.

Well done... :thumb2:

Sebastian

A simply brilliant effort and especially someone your age.

I am now going to call into a corner and cry because my best effort does not match this.

can we see some more pictures from different angles and underneath?

Carl

Good to see you soon getting involved. My son also helps out on the builds we have but only if they're British because mine at the German forces. In his case he's 12 and loves to help with Bill process but the painting is not fussed about. all credit to you for getting Sebastian involved.

Yes, so far he enjoys playing outside more than on the computer and when inside he splits time with games, toys and modelling so hopefully breaking a good balance so far..

A very good effort indeed. And the bonus is to experience that 'made it myself' feeling that electronic entertainment can't provide. Keep up the good work!

Top marks from me. Looks a very clean build Seb. From someone so young I think you will be a force to be recond with in the modeling world in the future. Keep it up.

That's a great result. I think I can remember what my efforts looked like when I was 9 - no, you don't want to know.
