Chipping solution

Once chipping solution is applied and then painted over, how long can it be left for before doing the chipping.
For example could I chip away the following daybor a week later.

Typically not that long. Normally it quite a quick process.

Apply base colour - let it dry

Brush on / spray on chipping medium - let it dry (check instructions)

Spray top colour - let it dry (15min - 30min)

Then start chipping process.

Seal with suitable medium.

Apply wash.

Seal again.

Fairly straight forward.

Gavin is quite right, the only thing I would add is the longer you leave it the harder it is too remove, as I know only too well:hugging-face:
