Hope i've done right with starting a new thread for the completed build?
Anyway, have finished all the details i had planned in my head for this one, spent about 30 hours in total on it, any more additions i think would make it too busy and i myself think the spaced out look adds a little drama to the piece.
So ......... I hope you like
A pilot stands and looks at the wreckage of his plane after bailing out and watching it plough into a barn taking out a few bits of countryside and farmyard along the way a few miles away, as he parachuted down to safety.
An encounter with a 109 forced him to bail out, the german aircraft shooting off a tail piece and rendering his rudder useless.
The plane had smouldered and burned for most of the night even with the farmers dousing it with what ever water they could fetch, desperately trying to save their barn, early morning showers had extinguished any remaining embers.
The farmers wife stands a little way behind him as she'd seen him walking along the farm lane early morning towards the wrecked aircraft, a rifle in her hands as she didn't know the nationallity of the aircraft involved and thought it best to aire on the side of caution.
Oh well, the bird seems a little on the poorly side, nothing more to do here, time to pop back to the farmhouse and have a spot of tea before setting back off to old Blighty.
