Hello fellow modellers,

I had so much fun with this kit and only costing me $8 i got real bang for my buck.

I feel its a little over posed and maybe not all that believable, i wanted to show this model with a little more than just a flat white snow base. My first time making snow and i used baking powder white glue and cheap white acrylic paint. A prop blur would have been another option but i didn't think of it untill the kit was complete.

The figures were a terrible fit and i had to hack and putty them to pieces to fit, I could of used another set or at least other heads as these had really weird faces but meh i kept it oob.

Thanks for looking to all those who did.

Aaron.

Wow Aaron, this is fantastic mate. What a weird looking vehicle. You did well to recover the figures, and they are painted nicely too. Not seeing any 'kicked in the balls' eyes on this one :smiling3:

I like it a lot!! It's a lovely scene.

The vehicle is very well painted, with a nice weathering.

And I like very much the stones too!

With this position a fantastic sensation of movement is obtained...great!

Cheers. Polux

Its a soviet ,aero engined bobsleigh with a machine gun - whats not to love!!!!! I think its fantastic Aaron youve done a superb job of it , and i agree with Joe about the eyes ! (that really made me chuckle!!) They look like theyre heading for certain disaster ,or at least a hard landing and future back problems , but i love it ! , great build medal from me , cheers tony

Aaron, this is great. Something different too.

Top notch work all round.....The build, the painting, the setting, it couldn't be better.

I'm glad to read you've joined the 'cheap paint club' too!

Superb build and very realistic, the pose is right as these little craft did meet outcrops etc, I think it works well.

Thank you so much Ian Ron and Si. Ron i use the cheap acrylics where ever i can, they haven't let me down yet. Cheap oil paints are the go as well, especially for washes. Ian i don't speak Russian can you translate? Appreciate the feedback thanks again guys.

That's well cool.... just looks like a decent "freeze frame" as they fly off the edge.

Never seen anything like that really. Good price too (even if you convert it into our suffering currency :smiling3: )

Any worries you have about the figures faces can be explained by them knowing what they're heading for .. we can't see it :smiling3: :smiling3: :smiling3:
