Cool job! Considering you have not yet premamently fixed the canopy, you may wish to remove the ejection seat handles from the top of the seats. D version of the Tomcat uses different kind of seats than A and B and has only a small yellow handle between the pilots legs. What markings will she carry?

After watching Top Gun for the first time (seriously, age 38) the other week and seeing this thread I think I might have to have a go at a Tomcat one day - yours looks great!!

Thanks Martin,

I think it's a case of I have never built anything in any other scale since I got back into the hobby. So am used to the small sizes.

This has always been one of my favorite planes. So when I saw this in my local model shop I had to get it.

Well it's finished and I have to say it was a pleasure to build this fantastic plane. It's a shame only a few were kept for museum pieces and the rest immediately scrapped so no spares could end up with the Iranians. The only other country that bought them
