A little progress on my Blue Angels build, I really like the way its coming together, very little filling or adjustments needed. I like the kit that much I've decided I want to build the whole display team, so on Friday 6 more copies of the kits will arrive for me to build, I'll then make up some board to look like a runway for display.

Yeah Modelzone have reduced em to £5.99 now and they also have the kits to do the Thunderbirds display team, I seem to recall a C130 in blue angels colours as well that would add the finishing touch :smiling3:

A good beginning Ade, and another six to do, that'll keep you busy for a while.

The C-130 would complete the team line up nicely. I believe it even has its own display routine at airshows.

I agree with Joe, you've got to build "Fat Albert". Looking forward to this build, or should that be "builds".

Have fun, John

I did a little research and it seems I only need 5 more kits as the team is a 6 man display team, I'm using Mr Color US Navy Blue Angels Blue H328

Now that looks sharp. The blue did look rather paler in the first post. Seems to have darkened with the gloss. One down is it?

I pick up the other 5 today with any luck, after a little research I did find out the display team is only 6 planes, Blue Angels 7 and 8 are advisors/commentators so have no idea why I have decals to make Blue Angels 7.
