Well we had a little sun today so I've taken a few more pictures which are hopefully a bit better. The light shows up the silvering on the tiny decals more though. Will experiment with brushing on some black lines next time just to give the impression of a marking.

Thanks again for following the build :thumb2:

Andy,

Very well done indeed. That has come out very nicely. Another great Dio you should be proud of.

Thanks everyone, the more I look at it the more I like it myself lol

And please Andy, don't stop on my account. I've never been great at taking praise but thank you very much for the kind words, I really appreciate it.

I'm not a dio person, but I really like that Andy. I think I'd like it even more if the jeep was pointing into the scene rather than out though!

Thanks Pete.

I did ponder that for quite a while actually. As it is he would have had to reverse into that spot, which would be a bit strange.

In the end I went with showing the best side of the Jeep.

Thanks Lee and Ian.

I need to find somewhere to put it now, running out of room! I can see the wife insisting on 1/72 or smaller from now on :smiling5:

A lovely tidy build Andy. A very crisp dio. Lots going on and plenty of eye candy. One to be proud of my friend.

1-87 scale might be fun:rolling:
I don't think I have the eyesight or dexterity for that Rick! :nerd:

Thanks Steve. It came out better than I expected, but I also think it's something I could add to or fettle in the future if something comes to me
