hey guys,

im thinking of making a small dio for a future project. the build will be motogp champ valentino rossi in 2008 livery, knee down mid corner.

i was thinking about using 280 wet/dry paper for the tarmac, but does anyone have any ideas on how to create the black shading and marks found on race tracks and moreimportantly, what type of material to use to create the kerb??

a black oil wash for the marks maybe.

possibly you plus use a black bit of rubber and drag it on the wet and dry to get a rubber line or two for variety.

i'd use balsa for the kerbs as its easy to work with and will take paint very well.

An idea for the asphalt is a paper of sanding. There are different intensities of grains that it can adapt to the size of your motorcycle. It's easily to paint and on having had "relief" can use dry brush to create effects. The kerb would do it with "pasta" to mold. You can give form and is easy to paint too.

I wait help!!

I prefer Marc Márquez!!! But Valentino is Ok!!

Cheers
