Flak Bergepanther

Got a start on this one, it`s an ICM bergepanther with a Trumpeter flak 37, I`ve always liked the look of this and have seen several pics of this, and always wanted to build one,the bergepanther is a nice kit to build but does come with one or two issues:eek: these being the fit of the engine access door and the drivers hatches, both of these do not fit the holes to which they are supposed to fit in, you have to enlarge both holes to be able to get them to fit, so a little filler will be needed:sad:

I was surprised at the quality of the kit, and with the detail, I also have the Panther D version, so I`m looking forward to getting that started;) I used some pe from Aber and Eduard on the kit, mainly engine screens and one or two bits on the rear, with one or two others bits and pieces to be added later.

The Trumpeter flak is a really nice kit and went together easily with no issues what so ever, I used one or two pieces of etch that is supplied with the kit, and would recommend this kit to others that are thinking of building them;)

Anyways, this is where it`s at, hope you like it, and will be adding updates as more gets done:smiling3:

Just a small update on this build, managed to get a little more done, in the way of painting and some more bits and pieces added, really pleased with the turret wooden deck cover, just some more chipping and weathering to be done, and then the tracks, these have to be replaced as the track links supplied with the kit are dogs:mad:

Overall this is a nice kit to build, it does have a few issues, not much to have you pulling your hair out,View attachment 117098

but those tracks are best placed in the bin:rolleyes:
