Great to see another classic kit getting built Ian. I think youll be pleasantly surprised at how well these old frog kits go together , if its anything like the vengeance it should build lovely. Interesting to see the decal sheet too, what with me being in a bit of an aussie spell at the moment, are you going to do the RAAF version or the british ? cheers tony

Just had a good root in the spare decals stash Ian , but nothing for a 1/72 mossie. What i have found however, is a couple of sheets with thin red lines on them .It would mean making the no step marking out of 6 seperate pieces but it might be slightly easier than trying to paint them. Have a look at the pics and if you want them theyre yours , (except the bit of sheet for the civil registered piper cherokee, i need that for the model!!) cheers tony

Very nice Ian I like the way you have displayed the mosquito. There's some subtle weathering it really looks the part.

Hi ian , i can recommend the tamiya 1/48 mossie wholeheartedly, its got to be the best fitting kit ive ever made and the detail straight out of the box is excellent, all that really can be added is some p.e.belts - the kit supplied decal ones arent too convincing! It makes into a good sized model of a beautiful aircraft. cheers tony
