Cheers Andy, the credit for the canopy must go to Eduard though as I “cheated” and used their paint mask set :tears-of-joy:

...... That ain`t cheating really Geoff......more of a "Must" with some of these Canopy`s framework i reckon:thumb2:
After all,we don`t think of masking off for camo patterns as cheating do we?;)

Plus one on that……personally it saves me time that I would rather spend on something more interesting.

Lovely build and an Interesting scheme on this one Geoff. It’s surprising how a different paint scheme can change the lines of an aircraft. Yours make the mossy look much sleeker than the camouflaged alternative.

Well Geoff you have got to be pleased with that . I think you've done a cracking job and I agree with Tim - that paint job really suits the Mossie.

Thanks Tony :smiling4:

On the paint scheme it seems a lot of the Mossies operating in the Far East theatre were eventually painted Silver.
When they first went out to the Far East they encountered problems with the laminated wood separating which lead to a number of aircraft crashes.
The glue used during production was tweaked and the silver paint was I believe used to try and reflect some of the heat and help preserve the airframe.

Geoff.

Just had a proper look on my laptop, rather than my diddy phone screen....and it has turned out beautifully!!

Very well done indeed, a great finish
