Welcome back mates.

This is for those who dare, if you're a purist of exact measurements or perfect finishing this is not your WIP, otherwise enjoy.

The kit is the old Minicraft (LS?) kit, minimal or no details we get (only half MLG well).

Ok, enough talking, let's start.

Scriber, glue and putty q.b.

What? Did I forget the cockpit? No, there is no cockpit and a scratched one would be too much for this model. Ok, let's find a common agreement, what if I do only half of it? Deal!

Some plastic card and copper wire ...

Some primer ...

Some paint ...

Ok, good enough!

Go Francesco! Awesome work, it's fallen together quickly so far.

Yeah this has gone together very quickly, I admire how you do these in this scale.

Thanks Joe and steve.

I just discovered that the f-14 seat had no B/Y handled on the headrest.

I will have to open the canopy and remove them.

In the meanwhile I started this one:

Thanks Ian.

Painting done.

I have to confess that I'm not fully satisfied with the result, plus there are a couple of spot that should have sanded better.

This is especially bad as I decided to mount the kit OOB (flaws in shape and details did not justify any extra work) and concentrate on finishing

Hi Francesco!

I admire your determination to build this old kits (with much better Dragon and excellent Revell kit on the market) and you are doing a great job on them.

I just noticed this. Actually A (your model) and B F-14s had those handles, both using GRU-7 seats. Only D models had different kind of seats and had no overhead ejection handles.
