Hi all & welcome to my thread.

Now building planes just ant my thing, i dont know why i just dont like building them.

After a short stay in hospital my daughter bought me not 1 but 4 planes to build while i am resting at home :smile5:.

So not wanting to upset her i thought i'd make a start this weekend, so this is how far i have got.

Added one or to bits to the cockpit & made some seat belts out of some old surgical tape i found in the draw.

Time to get the old chuckle mussels going & have a good laugh at my expence.

Ok now all i need is to get my eyes back in focuse this 1:72 scale a bit taxing on my eyesight.

All comments welcome

John.

Nice work there John, the detailing of that cockpit is great.

I'm sure you'll make a brilliant job of all four.

Tony.

Good detail in that cockpit for 1/72 scale.Looked at the link for that BOB HE111.Quite a big difference in the Shades of green RLM71 and 72.I built a BOB Stuka recently and used Xtracolour RLM71 and 72.I found the colours to be very similar.Superb build though.

Im not imprest with the quality of this model, there is a lot of cleaning up to do on most of the parts, spent 2 hrs cleaning up the landing gear alone & the fit is very poor, but i will persevere.

Judging by the sink marks and flash ,id say this is a very old tooling john. If the cockpit is anything to go by though , im sure youll make a cracking job of it, and its always satisfying ,getting a great result from a , shall we say,"challenging" kit !! keep up the good work mate , cheers tony

No problem.I've got a sense of humour. You have to be careful with some of the 'delicate flowers' on here though!.
