Thanks to Dave, Paul and Gary for your posts.

Dave. There is a heap of really small plastic bits (difficult to see which way up they go with a magnifying glass!)
That's before I get to the even smaller P.E. nonsense. Not that I will be using much of that.

Will do, Paul.

Gary. Thank you for taking the time to post the clip.

P.E. parts added and I've brushed on some Vallejo Air paint.

I've just noticed I've knocked a bit off. The carpet monster can have it with pleasure and I hope the piece gives it indigestion!

Cheers.

Thanks Rick and Ian for your much valued contribution to this build thingy.

Ian, I never bin a model. Apart from the ridiculously miniscule bits of plastic and P.E., It's a good model. Mind you, it might well end up over 2 miles down as a wreck alongside what's left of the Titanic!

Late to the party Ron! An interesting floaty thing you are building here too. I am a little worried that your good lady is out of a job though. I can't see any way she could use her chucking up skills on this one.......It will be interesting to see what you eventually do with this hydro dings bumms!!!....

Thanks Rick....

Allen, you are quite right, the Mem Sahib will just have to carry on with her other daily chores - for a short time anyway... ;)

It certainly will be interesting to see where this build is going, 'cos at the minute, I sure don't! :upside:

Recent progress.
I've stuck the top bit onto the bottom bit.

My initial intention was to drill out the windows and 'Glaze' them. I thought better of it and just painted them.

For those not up on all the technical terminology that goes with ship building I think Ron means the bit in the water is now joined to the bit not in the water ;)
IN other words Jim 570 has stuck the main deck onto the hull lol:rolling:;)

Thanks for clarifying what goes where in the correct terms chaps.:blow-kiss-2:

I've finished the vessel. Nice kit with loads of diddy detail to stick on. Some I couldn't even see. others I could just about. Some I stuck on, some I binned!

I won't bore you just which is P.E., but suffice to write I used most of it. Only one major piece beat me, this I screwed up in a ball and threw it away in disgust. I substituted it for some plastic. (Our secret Dave ;))

Despite the above, I still, in a perverse way, enjoyed the build. I was not going to let a bit of plastic and brass get the better of me.........

Anyhoo, here's the model.

Loose dust particles are an optional extra!
